Just a silly idea I had.

I wanted to do a crossover of Nike with Sonic with the catchphrase being ~~"just do it to it" but it was: too lengthy, unfamiliar, and most people hate Sonic Underground references;~~**** so I went with something more familiar. An initially hidden bonus for me was that it it fit the gotta go fast meme while incorporating the visuals of the three word catchphrase.

I will submit this to teefury and Shirt Woot and update this entry as well as do a journal if either site takes the design.

PS: I don't like that slight tangent on the left, will fix that asap.

I very very sincerely apologize for coming to your page for the first time in years and jsut getting all negative in the comments...I'm sorry, really really sorry that the things I happened on happened to be things I didn't love, cause I still love you.

but anyhow, this logo does not impress me at all. I like sonic and I like the nike stripe and the concept makes sense but this is not--to me---visually appealing or interesting at all [although the concept itself is interesting, ANd I think has good potential.

both of your slogans also, strike me the same way...akward, confusing and slow, missing the point.

lucky for you I am really wierd and average people are unlikely to react as I do but still---DOES that look fast to you? It's a blue blob with a huge white outline [that outline looks very heavy, a blue blob which is sort of round with white evokes clouds, not speed, fleetingness. and the stripes all point in different directions. for speed you gotta have everything pointing in one clear direction.

I hope you are well.I sorta miss you, but I can't handle the depressing and sexualized nature of a fair amount of what you post, so I don't stop by very often.and I haven't been on much anyhow
