Purpose: Calarts Portfolio

I'd love critiques! But please read the above link before commenting!

Also this is only a small focus of my portfolio for Calarts, I know what want a variety of content and that's something they will most certainly get.

But as I form my original ideas on the side in my mind, I'm doing a more simple concept in terms of design as of now.

PS: the order is somewhat backwards... the top piece is the most recent while the others were done relatively at the same time.

I don't know if CalArts does the "if you show a lot of talent in your portfolio you can get a scholarship" thing like some other art schools, but you seem like you'd be a likely candidate if they did.

This pleases me alot. I remember watching this movie when i was WAY too young to understand and through the years till i saw it again, i kept having flash backs of a cat gutting out some other cat...
Also, i can feel somewhat pitbull vibes from some of the faces ( is this even a crit?! )

My film equivalent to your experience would have to be Blue Lagoon and Rock and Rule. Both of which i watched religiously fore entirely different reasons.

Hmm! I see it now that you mention it! I think if any of the cats should look like a pit bull it would be Kong. I don't know what breed he was supposed to be but my GOD he looked like some weird bulldog persian mix whatever. I think I might make Kong a mix between the Persian, Norwegian forest cat, and tabby. Just look at how handsome the NFC is! [link] [link] Plus it allows for a masculine look without the ridiculousness of the animated version.
